A Message From Our President

Hello harpists! It is hard to believe May is here, and we are all thinking about the upcoming summer. Check out the rest of the newsletter for some exciting summer harp opportunities. Also, huge congrats to all the students (and their teachers) who participated in our recent Mildred Milligan Competition. We had 61 (!) students participate, from grades 1 – graduate students. It was truly an amazing display of the hard work, talent, and determination of our chapter’s students. We are so proud of all of them, and excited to see that the future is so bright for the next generation of harpists in Houston. We are also thrilled to announce our new board! This is a jam-packed newsletter, so be sure to read all the important announcements. The harp community here is thriving, and it’s thanks to all of our fantastic members and board!
